FullCodePress Competition
The CodeBlacks have won FullCodePress and Enlighten Designs are proud to congratulate our Lead Designer, Steve Dennis, who was the designer for the New Zealand team.
Full Code Press is a series of web competitions. Web teams take each other on, at the same location, to build a fully-operational website for a non-profit organisation in 24 hours. No excuse, no extensions, no budget overruns.
The event was held in Australia on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August 2007 between Australia and New Zealand.
The NZ team was assigned the Grampians disAbility Advocacy Association (GdAA) as their non-profit organisation. The GdAA support people with a disability in the Grampians region of Victoria, Australia. They focus on independence, improved quality of life, and greater and more meaningful participation in community life, for the disabled people in their region.
You can view the site here: http://www.grampiansadvocacy.org/
Congratulations to everyone who made it into the final teams and to all those who applied. An awesome result for Steve.
The judges commented on how well both sides performed, especially given the nature of the competition - clients they'd never met before, 24 hour deadline and incessant interuption to be photographed, interviewed and videoed.
