Waikato District Health Board (DHB) is a complex organisation made up of more than 6,000 employees working together to improve the health, independence and quality of life for more than 360,000 people living in a region covering eight per cent of New Zealand.

Waikato DHB had previously engaged Microsoft Certified Partner PIPC to develop a custom project management methodology especially for the DHB environment - adapted from PRINCE2 (a global project management standard). The custom methodology was dubbed “The Waikato Way”.

 

Enlighten Designs, working in partnership with PIPC, were engaged by Waikato DHB to upgrade their solution to the most current versions. Enlighten Designs implemented a best-practise deployment of SharePoint 2010 and Project Server 2010 as well as migrating content and configurations from the previously implemented versions.
