MRP Asset Risk Management Life Cycle Software Scoping – 2006/2007
This project involved the gathering of business requirements, documentation and the prototyping of various components. The purpose of the tool is to help assess and derive the lifecycle and risk management of large assets such as Power Generators and to understand the social, environmental and financial costs.

Utilising complicated algorithms, prototyping proved that two engines for processing risk and lifecycle projects focussing on performance and accessibility to up to 100 users was achievable.

MRP Electricity Trading Tool - 2006
Enlighten were contracted to scope and develop the primary tool used by Mighty River Power for the trading of electricity in New Zealand. Mighty River Power trades in the “Spot Energy Market” by offering Generation, Reserve and Frequency offers from Hydro, CoGen and Geothermal stations. The tool has a series of complex business rules that allows graphical representation and editing of energy, reserve and frequency offers for the combined hydro and geo thermal environments.

The NZ National Party web-based membership tracking system - 2004/2005
Includes a tiered security and registration system for website users that integrates with a custom relationship management system enforcing complex business rules and logic across a wide range of users. All data is centralised, including Party people details. This information is also used by Electorate groups as a base for a directory system.

CablePrice New Zealand Parts and Tracking System - 2004/2005
This project includes the development of web interfaces for the tracking and ordering of parts by dealers. CablePrice has 26 branches, dealers and service centres throughout New Zealand. This system allows dealers to place orders, have the order fulfilment tracked and using web service technology, integrate with Microsoft Narvision (ERP package) for stock orders and invoicing, as well as other enterprise resource planning tools.

Waikato Milking Systems Dealer Quoting Systems - 2004
Waikato Milking Systems has over 60 distributors and dealers world wide. This project involved re-developing two existing systems; a laptop quoting system and an online quoting system that provides each distributor their pricing for developing quotes and also the availability of stock. Enlighten Designs redeveloped these systems in the .Net framework.

Both systems integrate with the use of web services. The laptop quoting client includes an automatic update system that checks to see if any price updates have been made and automatically applies updates to new quotes and informs the dealer of the changes. The online version allows dealers to login and generate their price book in PDF format. Systems integrate with the existing accounting package and other enterprise resource planning tools for forecasting and sales analysis, on a per dealer basis.

Gen-I Network Audit Tool - 2003
Gen-I approached Enlighten Designs to develop a Network Audit Tool to be used within Fonterra. A Windows based application; the tool ran a script that audited all workstations and thin clients joined to a network. The data was collated in a report that was generated after all machines had been audited. The Network Audit Tool allowed Gen-I to retrieve information on the hardware installed on a per machine basis in a timely and cost effective manner.

Enlighten Domains .NZ Shared Registry System Interface - 2003
Enlighten Designs developed .Net interfaces for the New Zealand Shared Registry System. This project involved utilising web service technology to query the Shared Registry System and the development of interfaces to pull or push data as required.
